Renovations create a new seafront community for tomorrow
Since 2000, the Association's directors have led massive renovations leading to the incarnation of a new building, and a new community, for generations to come. Fountainhead residents now have one of the most up-to-date high-rise buildings in the beachfront area.
OCEAN VIEW: Every Fountainhead unit includes faces to the Atlantic Ocean, a key ingredient in the building design. Beach view shows a couple on the sand above the north terrace walkway, with eastern tower wing barely visible at right edge. View from A-B-C-D apartments.

Redecorating & improvements After 5 years and nearly $5 million of renovations, redecorating, code upgrades, concrete restoration and other agonizing decisions including Hurricane Wilma damage control, our common areas have been refurbished and many key systems have been replaced. The Fountainhead community's common area redecorating project included conversion of our once-formal dining room into a lounge and reception room, upgrade to the ocean dining room and full-service restaurant kitchen. The common area air conditioning overhaul was completed in early spring, now using modern recirculated water system rather than the obsolete well system. These and other projects follow elevator renovations, concrete restoration, roof replacement, electrical, satellite TV, high-speed internet cable and other renovations over the past five years. Beach Renourishment! The next scheduled multimillion-dollar project is one we can simply watch: The state, county and federally funded beach re-nourishment project is expected to add at least 150 feet of sand to our shoreline within the next year or two. What's on the menu? The regular lunch & dinner menus for our dining room are posted here online. Click on the "Dining Room Menus" link at left ... And don't forget to call or check our in-house TV & boards for specials.

GRAND PATIO: The large main decks stretches round half of the building, offering several activity areas in addition to the main pool/beach deck. Outfitted with pavers in the mid-1990s, the patio can host every resident & guest for a special event or cookout. Residents occasionally book their own private parties and receptions with special tents and catering.
