One of the first three condominium associations in America, the Fountainhead was built in 1964 as a 127-unit luxury oceanfront community residence--with an ocean view for every unit--at the then astounding cost of $5 million.

The Fountainhead is located at the southernmost end of the village of Lauderdale by the Sea, a small and still old-fashioned beach town of shops, restaurants and clubs surrounding the Anglin Fishing Pier.
